Property:Has Wikidata ID

This is a property of type External identifier. It corresponds to an item ID at Wikidata. Only the item ID (usually starting with Q and followed by a series of digits) should be entered in this field. It will be automatically formatted as a URI in this form (where $1 is the value you entered):

https://www.wikidata.org/entity/$1

There should be an exact one to one correspondence for people and animals, but other entity types might only be an approximate match because of differences between how By The Sword Linked and Wikidata define entities or because of inconsistencies within Wikidata.

Where a Wikidata item covers a settlement and a parish at the same time, we use it only to refer to the settlement.
