This is a property of type Page. It identifies any person or organization that created or contributed to a text. This includes:

• author of a book, article, thesis or manuscript. This includes the author of a foreword.
• editor or translator of a book or article.
• illustrator of a book, article or manuscript.
• publisher or printer of a book published in the 17th century. We do not record semantic data for publishers of books published earlier or later than the 17th century.
• person or organization that collected or created a whole collection.

For people named as booksellers on the title pages of 17th-century books, use Property:To be sold by.
